Tennessee Aquarium – Chattanooga

Over Spring break we traveled to Washington DC area, but took a side trip to Chattanooga to visit the Tennessee Aquarium. It was well worth the detour. The aquarium is housed in 2 adjacent buildings each about 3-4 stories high – one named Ocean and the other River. You enter at ground level and then are taken to the top floor from where you start to wind your way down to ground level. The displays are well done, and there were a respectable number of varieties on display. It took us a total of 2-3 hours to go through both buildings. The only real negative we ran into was the lack of parking, or at least the lack of instructions about where to park. We’d go again. Denny
